ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
The Position of Assistant Principal, under the direction of the Principal, is charged with the overall leadership of a high school. This would include but not be limited to academic leadership, certificated and classified employee supervision, communication and relationship building with parents and outside agencies working with the school.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Education: Completion of a Master’s degree or higher is required
* Credential: A valid California Administrative or valid supervisory Credential
* Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching or counseling experience and Five (5) years administrative experience is required.
* Knowledge: Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge of current educational practices regarding the improvement of instruction, clinical supervision, effective schools and other current educational trends.

The salary for the position of Assistant Principal is determined by the candidate’s placement on the certificated management salary schedule.
